Founded by Kerry Ao, Cooper Croslyn and Naina Muvva from Signature School Inc, Intertwined Finance is developing an online, interactive stock market and personal finance simulator that integrates with an adaptive learning software to allow students to learn more efficiently. The Intertwined team were 2022 Innovate WithIN State finalists.
The Acacia Ranch Show Goats produces affordable show goats to not only benefit community but feed the nation. This was founded by Sydney and Matthias Hefty of DeKalb High School. Sydney and Matthias were 2021 Innovate WithIN State 2nd place winners.
LIFTOFF Mobility supports airline travel for the disabled community by inventing wheelchair padding and a lift to move the chairs safely on and off the plane. They were founded by Gus Nance, Luke Shinneman and Landon Swift, 2022 Innovate WithIN State finalists and recipient of the People’s Choice Award.
Founded by Liam Lloyd, Tutor Us is an app used to connect struggling students with available, nearby tutors who specialize across a wide range of subjects. Lloyd is a student at Westfield High School and was the 2nd place winner at Innovate WithIN 2022 and received the BarrGon Hispanic Startup Award.
Patchables is an ecologically-friendly dog toy company that uses textile waste to make fun, unique dog toys while providing jobs to the disabled community and giving back to their local animal shelter. Patchables was founded by 2022 Innovate WithIN State winners, Kayla Davis and Isis Fleming from Hobart High School.
OmegaSkin was founded by Nimish Bhat of Carmel High School. She was a 2021 Innovate WithIN State finalist, STARTedUP Foundation intern and is the President of the STARTedUP Alumni Association. Omega Skin is a burn crisis remedy for under developed countries, using fish skin to assist in the burn-healing process.
