Hobart students get advice from Savannah Bananas founder

Hobart High School students and other Indiana schools received virtual advice from Jesse Cole, founder of the Savannah Bananas, a high-energy exhibition baseball team, on Thursday, April 10, 2025.

The simulcast, hosted by the STARTedUP Foundation, a nonprofit promoting entrepreneurship education, featured Cole sharing his journey of creating a team known for its entertaining and unique gameplay. Students, many of whom were in business or entrepreneurship programs, were enthused and wore banana costumes and thunder sticks during the virtual discussion.
